このたび、橿原神宮・養正殿に奉納させて頂きました《ワンネス》という作品（行為の痕跡）についてご紹介させて頂きます。
この作品は、私が今から20年以上前に巡礼中に出会った、極彩色の世界を表現したものです。その世界は安らぎに満ち、心に分離感が一切ないような、魂がすべてとつながっているような根源的な感覚に包まれた世界でした。まるで生きとし生けるものすべての魂が響き合う場所――私は直感的に「人は皆、あのような場所へ帰っていくのだ」と感じました。
その体験を経て以来、私はその安らぎの世界をアートとして形にし、多くの方々に届けたいという思いで、表現を続けてまいりました。時には「あやしい」と言われることもありましたが、それこそが私の使命だと信念を持って歩んでまいりました。ですので、このたびこのような機会をいただけたこと、心より嬉しく思っております。
変わり続け、どこか不安定で頼りない現実の世界――それを「うつし世」と呼び、対して、変わらぬ理想の世界を「常世（とこよ）」と申します。私があの巡礼中に見た世界は、おそらく「常世」であったのではないかと、今では感じています。その安らぎに満ちた感覚は今なお私の中にあり、今回の作品も その感覚を思い起こしながら制作いたしました。
技法的には、東洋と西洋の折衷的な描き方を採用しています。基本的には朝の光の中で描いておりますので、ぜひ朝の光の中でご覧いただければと思います。マチエール（絵肌）と、何層にも重ねた微妙な色合いが特徴ですので、近くでご覧いただくとより一層お楽しみいただけます。
また、画面には奉納演奏を行った土地の水と砂を混ぜ込んでおり、土地の記憶や祈りが作品に込められています。
アートとは、言葉にできない強い思いを、その時代の人が表したかたちです。どうかこの作品をご覧いただいた方が、ほんのひとときでも安らぎを感じてくだされば、これに勝る喜びはございません。

“Oneness”: A Votive Painting for Kashihara Jingu Shrine
I would like to introduce the work (and the traces of my creative act) titled “Oneness,” which I have recently had the honor of dedicating to the Yoseiden of Kashihara Jingu Shrine.
This piece expresses a world of vibrant, brilliant colors that I encountered during a pilgrimage more than twenty years ago. It was a world overflowing with peace—a primal sensation where the soul feels connected to everything, and all sense of separation vanishes. It felt like a place where the souls of all living beings resonate together. My intuition told me then: “This is the place where we all eventually return.”
Since that experience, I have continued to create art with the hope of giving form to that world of tranquility and sharing it with others. At times, my path was met with skepticism, but I moved forward with the conviction that this is my mission. Therefore, I am truly overjoyed to have been granted this precious opportunity.
In Japanese tradition, we call this ever-changing, somewhat unstable and fleeting reality “Utsushiyo,” while the unchanging, ideal world is known as “Tokoyo.” Looking back, I feel that the world I witnessed during my pilgrimage was likely “Tokoyo.” That sense of profound peace remains within me to this day, and I created this work while calling upon those very memories.
Technically, the piece employs an eclectic blend of Eastern and Western painting styles. As it was primarily painted in the morning light, I would be delighted if you could view it under the soft light of the morning. It features a unique matière(texture) and subtle gradations created by layering colors multiple times; I believe you will enjoy it even more when viewed up close.
Furthermore, I have incorporated water and sand from the land where the dedicatory performances took place, embedding the memories and prayers of the earth into the canvas itself.
Art is a form given to powerful, wordless emotions by those living in their era. If this work brings even a moment of peace to those who behold it, I could ask for no greater joy.
